Anpan-man is the hero of the famous cartoon of Japan. He always punishes a villain with the colleague. "Sl-man" is one of the member of the colleague that back up "Anpan-man". SL is the abbreviation of the steam locomotive in Japan. It means the initial of the steam locomotive. In the summer of 1998 & 1999 a real steam locomotive became SL-man. The Ooigawa railroad is the company of 5 unit which has the steam locomotive that can move. C11227 changed to SL-man. He has come to have a red body and face of cartoon. A red JNR class steam locomotive did not exist in Japan at one time. It is big surprise. It was that to a railroad fan unpopularity, but children were exultation.
