D62 Aug. 1965 On Shizukuishi river brige (Offered by Yuhei Minato)
D62 is the form that remodeled d52 for corresponding to a light line. The wheel arrangement became 2-8-4. It is the first case in the Japan National Railway. From 1950 to 1951, the remanufacturing by JNR Hamamatsu Works, had produced the 20 cars of this class. These had been used to 1966. I think it is very regrettable that this class is not preserved now.
