The Mika-3 or Mikasa is meaning of the 3rd locomotive of Mikado (2-8-2 wheel arrangement) class. If this locomotive is the same number as the Japanese colonial era, this Mika-3 161 was built by Nippon-Sharyo in March of 1940. Mika-3 class was built by Nippon-Sharyo, Hitachi, Kisha-Seizo, Kawasaki and Governor-General of Korea railway Seoul works from 1927. Total built over 300 locomotives. |
