Taiwan CK110 Steam Locomotive
The CK110 was one of three 914 mm-gauge locomotives built by Kisha Seizo in 1922 for the Keelung Office of the Civil Engineering Bureau of the Taiwan Government-General, for use in the expansion work at Keelung Harbor. It is said that the locomotives were later transferred to construction work at Niitaka Port, now Taichung Port, and remained in use until the end of the war. The date of regauging is unknown, but by the time the locomotive was taken over by the Taiwan Railways Administration after the war and became CK111, it had already been converted to 1,067 mm gauge. Its weight had also increased by 0.7 t. Of the three locomotives, only No. 3 was transferred to the Taiwan Railways Administration, where it was numbered CK111. As a small locomotive, it probably had few opportunities for major service, and it was withdrawn in 1950. No example has been preserved.
